As the Sebastopol darkness deepens and I sit awaiting the end of Werewolf (this time, I was an unjustly accused villager) - here are my favorite snippets from Day Two of Foo Camp:
- Making tough choices from the great list of talks
- Waking up at 9:52AM, and still making the first session at 10:00AM
- Finding out that the highly entertaining Tom Coates is also working on a very cool mobile geolocation application called FireEagle for Yahoo! Brickhouse
- Everyone running out of the session on 'decentralizing social networks' in order to watch Larry Page land his shiny red helicopter on the O'Reilly lawn
- Convincing Jason Calacanis that he really doesn't know me, he's remembering another short blonde
- Eagerly watching this year's installment of data visualization research from Fernanda Viegas and Martin Wattenberg
- Being told by Rael Dornfest that FudgeFactory lost entrepreneur improv because we were 'too profitable'
- Snaking the last Diet Coke before helping out Rob Hayes to present on 'creating products with built-in marketing'
- Getting to chime in on Brady Forrest's brainstorming for the next Etech program
- Eating just-right BBQ ribs at dinner
- Pulling a Werewolf card for the first time, and coming very, very close to killing all of the villagers
