The mysteries of the breadboard were revealed today at the Maker's Faire by Bunnie Huang, who also happens to write articles for MAKE. Bunnie's workbench was tucked in next to the Make Play workshop, where visitors to the Faire rolled up their sleeves and let out their inner Maker.
See the video for Bunnie's quick tutorial, and two budding Maker interviews.
I've got to say, I'm now a Bunnie groupie....you just know that he was everyone's favorite TA in college. I'll spend some more time with Bunnie tomorrow, as he reveals the deep, dark secrets of the IR controller.
(Note: This is my first stab at video blogging, so it's not perfect. My iMovie titles are rendering fuzzily, and there's some 'interesting' lighting. Also, I tried to upload this via Videoegg, since then I would have a neat little thumbnail instead of just the uploaded file link. Unfortunately, I don't have Tiger installed on my Mac, and therefore Videoegg Publisher won't work on my laptop. Since I won't get Tiger until I can give up my laptop to our IT staff for a while, this means no Videoegg for who knows how long. Oh well, maybe by the next event I vlog.)
