Over 300 entrepreneurial spirits gathered in Mountain View today for Startup Camp. During one of the morning breakouts, participant introductions revealed a snapshot demographic:
- 50% are doing a startup full-time
- 20% are actively working on a startup, but have a day job
- 30% are at larger companies, and sniffing at entrepreneurship
Presuming this demographic is reflective of the entire conference,
then what a terrific job organizers David Berlind and Doug Gold have
done in bridging the entrepreneur community.
