The Conexus team was elated to announce yesterday that the Black Rock Arts Foundation made a substantial award to the Conexus Cathedral project. This extremely generous grant will provide for about 75% of the project's anticipated needs:
As the Conexus Cathedral team stated: "As we go forward towards creating this beautiful Art and enabling rich experiences for so many, we want to remember that we are also building communities, relationships, and friendships among ourselves. These relationships will continue to provide inspiration and joy for us, long after the Cathedral is ash."
The remaining Cathedral expenses are expected to run an additional $10,000 beyond the grant. Saturday's Phreaky Phormal benefit is still of great importance, and also a great chance for us to celebrate abundance and good fortune.
